Linda G. Braddon, Ph.D, President, Secure BioMed Evaluations (SecureBME), has considerable experience supporting the engineering efforts of emerging medical device companies. Lassiter & Associates has formed a joint marketing arrangement with Secure BME to offer a unique set of commercialization services designed to speed the process of bringing new medical devices to market. The combined capabilities of Secure BME and Lassiter & Associates has resulted in a comprehensive Commercialization Services offering that includes market validation, market sizing, regulatory feasibility, manufacturing analysis, and reimbursement support.
Dr. Braddon's other professional experience includes extensive work in tissue engineering with a specialty in biomechanics, biofluids and bioprocesses. She has served as an adjunct faculty member at Mercer University, School of Engineering and advised private life science companies through her own firm, Secure BioMed Evaluations. She is the co-inventor of a U.S. patent, has conducted considerable research, and has been published on various tissue and bioengineering topics. She is an active member of Georgia Bio, where she serves on the medical device committee, Southeastern Medical Device Association, and American Standards for Testing and Materials. Dr. Braddon holds a bachelor of science in Engineering from Mercer University, School of Engineering along with a master of science and a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering with a specialization in bioengineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. She has served as a National Science Foundation fellow at both Duke University and Georgia Tech to guide undergraduate research in physics and biomedical engineering.
