TAG Releases Industry Research Conducted by Lassiter & Associates Atlanta, March 4, 2009 — Technology Association of Georgia released its "2008 State of the Industry Report: Technology in Georgia" at the Georgia Technology Summit on March 3, 2009. Mantella, President of TAG, presented a summary of the findings at the summit to a crowd of 1,200 technology professionals. His presentation outlined Georgia's standing in the nation in technology job growth, entrepreneurial activity, venture capital funding, and much more. He concluded with a challenge to all technology stakeholders to improve the state's five drivers of technology growth: education, entrepreneurial growth, funding, resources, and state support.
